The maker of Airborne and my thoughts on this dietary supplement.

I think Airborne is great! I work in health care and I’m around sick kids. I have been hit hard by illnesses such pneumonia and influenza. Airborne is a preventative, and keeps you from getting sick. It helps your immune system along, and gives you the vitamin C to help it function. I like how there is ginger, and echinacea in this product.
I have noticed myself recovering from colds much faster by taking three tablets when I am sick, and just one during winter season. 1 tablet has 1000 mg of vitamin C. It also has electrolytes, herbal extracts, amino acids, antioxidants, and vitamins. It markets as improving immune function, and preventing a cold.

From personal experience, I think it works well. As a Mom, and healthcare provider, I am around sick people all the time. I have noticed that I don’t get as sick and as often after taking these through the months of September through May.

The maker of Airborne was a school teacher named Victoria Knight-McDowell. Since she was a school teacher, she was exposed to a lot of germs, so she knew what it was like, and knew we needed a supplement to boost our immune system, to be healthier, and not let sickness interfere with our day-to-day lives. She She began making herbal and vitamin drinks in 1990’s and selling them to local drug stores.
