I live in Colorado along the Rocky Mountains. There is so much to do in Colorado, that is is not difficult to find something to do.

During winter I love to go sledding. I love the rush of it. If I have time, I like to go to Winter Park to sled.

I also love skiing, Loveland Ski Area is my favorite. I have been skiing since I was six. I used to do races and would win metals. It is great exercise.
Also cross country skiing as well on the golf course.

I like building snow men with the kids, since they were little.

Remember to get out and get sunshine this winter so that you do not get winter blues! 🙂

    1. All of that sounds fun and grand and snow is pretty to look at – but it’s cold. I hate cold. I’m from South Texas where it snows once every 10 years or so. I’m living in Scotland at the moment and I’ve had way too much cold and rain. But you blog is great!

  1. I used to live in Colorado. I learned to downhill ski. I became reasonably good on the green slopes.
I moved to Minnesota. What they call mountains here are glorified hills. It takes longer to get up the hill than it does to get down. I don’t ski any more.
I did learn to canoe. There’s lost of water here.
There are lots of parks and plenty of paths to walk and bike, go explore and photograpy. That’s where I spend my outdoor time now.

  2. Took my kids out to experience nature today. It brought a sense of closeness that I have not felt for a long time. Looking forward to taking them out to see more. Thank you for sharing this great post.

I have had the privilege of traveling and I always felt full in places as different as Prague or Paris, in winter. I love what you say because you must be a young and happy mother, with a will and joy in the soul that leads you to do so many things and, most importantly, play with your children that is the most wonderful thing in life. A cordial greeting.
